This website contains information on the five year $8.9 million dollar Teacher Quality Partnership (TQP) Grant that was awarded to Kennesaw State University (KSU) and Cobb County School District (CCSD).
For the latest news visit the TQP Blog
We are now in Year 5 of the grant and have developed Co-Teaching and an Urban Education Option, which is a track within KSU’s traditional Elementary & Early Childhood teacher education program in which teacher candidates receive special training in teaching students who are English language learners, students with special needs, and students who are economically disadvantaged.
The Urban Education option is a two-year commitment in which the majority of junior and senior level education courses and field work take place at 5 Cobb County public schools and are taught by teams of KSU/CCSD.
